Tracey Whitaker

Tracey joined the accounts team at Magentum in 2006.

Tracey started the AAT in 2000 with her first employment in an accountancy role in 2001. This gave Tracey a comprehensive introduction to accountancy, including bookkeeping, payroll, tax and financial statements for small businesses for self-assessment tax and limited companied for corporation tax. She became fully qualified as a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2005. Before joining Magentum, Tracey spent five years working for a small entrepreneurial accounting team.

As Senior Accountant at Magentum, Tracey prepared financial statements for trusts, limited companies and limited partnerships. She specialises particularly in offshore accounts for trusts and companies based in the Channel Islands.

After leaving school, Tracey followed family footsteps and trained as a hairdresser, retraining as an accountant in her late 20’s. She is married with two grown up daughters and a grandson.

Tracey enjoys problem solving and puzzles - hence the chosen career path. She is also an enthusiastic crafter who will have a go at any new craft project.
