Jackie Doswell

Jackie has worked for many years in accounting and finance.

Jackie started out as a Costing Clerk for a Pharmaceutical Company. After starting her family, Jackie obtained her HNC in Business and Finance. She moved to a very large Publishing house focusing on Benefits and Expenses and getting a really detailed understanding of the relevant HMRC rules, progressing to become the Expense Controller for the whole organization.

Jackie then moved into the field of Private Education working for a charity-run organisation providing support to the Bursars, Teachers, and Professionals of Private Schools. Jackie’s role was to be responsible for the day-to-day finances of the organisation and involved a steep learning curve when it came to charities and VAT.

Jackie has been working at Magentum for almost year now as a bookkeeper looking after a range of clients which she finds both challenging, and enjoyable.
