It’s another year and Magentum are avid supporters and sponsors of the Sea Cucumbers Dragon Boat team!
It’s another year and Magentum are avid supporters and sponsors of the Sea Cucumbers Dragon Boat team! and they have started 2024 with a blast, showing their strength and determination once again.
Their first race of the Season was the Lamma 500 and although they came out short in the Mixed Plate, 4th runners up, they achieved a personal best time on the day, Go Cukes!
Next stop was Repulse Bay and cheered on by a huge number of spectators they secured 5th place in the ladies’ gold plate and 5th in the Mixed Gold Plate final, what a great day!
The 3rd race of the season was on Cheung Chau Island, a good day was had by all and the Cukes were 4th runners up in the Silver Cup! We can’t wait to see what they do next, Go Cukes!
New Season for the Dragon Boat Team!
Magentum Fiduciary Services is proud to be one of the sponsors for the “Sea Cucumbers” who qualified for the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat races. The Hong Kong Dragon Boat races are held in various locations around Hong Kong and are a major sport event in the birthplace, Hong Kong of modern dragon boat racing. Thousands of athletes from around the world and many locals’ teams battle on the waters cheered on by both locals and visitors that support this exhilarating yearly event. The Sea Cucumbers is a mixed team of locals and expats including our very own Managing Director, Natalie M Smith. After weeks of training the Sea Cucumbers made their way to the Stanley Dragon Boat Warm Up Races on 3rd June 2023 and became Gold Cup Finalists, well done!
